Cinnamon Baked Apples

RECIPE


Ingredients:

  • 6-7 apples

  • 1 tsp of coconut oil

  • 2 tbs syrup (I use higher fiber syrup by Choc Zero)

  • 1 tbs cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • Pinch if salt

  • Optional: Juice or one lemon


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F,

  2. Peel the skin off of the apples,

  3. Remove core from apples and then slice into pieces (any shape works),

  4. Add sliced apples into a mixing bowl and add all other ingredients to the bowl, mix to coat all apples,

  5. Grease a baking dish and add the apple mixture to the pan,

  6. Bake the apples for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and mix the apples,

  7. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.

ENJOY over greek yogurt or ontop of a large scoop of iced cream!
