Spicy Baked Salmon

I'm a salmon girl and I know my fellow salmon lovers will know exactly what I mean. It's my go-to seafood for when i'm cooking for myself, friends or family. It's always a crowd pleaser and so simple to make.

Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2)
  • 1 Lb salmon (wild caught is preferred; skin on)

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp hot paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400F. Remove the salmon from the fridge and allow to sit on the counter to come to room temperature for 10 minutes.

  2. Clean your salmon and pat the salmon dry.

  3. Place the salmon on a parchment lined baking sheet.

  4. Drizzle in oil oil and coat the salmon in the spices. Use clean hands to massage the spices and oil into the salmon filet. Drizzle with lemon juice.

  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes depending on your preference. Allow the salmon to sit for 3-5 minutes out of the oven before serving.

Enjoy!
